Massage subscription: 11 treatments for 10.

Luzia Mühlebach is a massage therapist EFA (EMR, ASCA), her treatments are covered by complementary health insurance. Please clarify with your insurance company before your first appointment whether and/or to what extent the costs are covered. Of course, private patients are welcome, too.

Triggerpunkt-Therapie

Indications for triggerpoint therapy

  • Chronic neck tension (cervicobrachial syndrome)
  • Headaches, migraines (of musculoskeletal origin)
  • Pain in the jaw joint (with/without teeth grinding)
  • Shoulder pain, beginning arthrosis of the shoulder (onarthrosis)
  • Tennis or golfer’s elbow (Epicondylitis radialis or ulnaris)
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome, pre- or post-operation
  • Chronic pain in the lower back (lumbar vertebral syndrome)
  • Sciatic pain (sciatica)
  • Back pain during pregnancy
  • Pain in or block of the sacroiliac joint (e.g. in runners)
  • Hip pain, hip arthrosis (coxarthrosis), pre- or post-operation
  • Knee pain, knee arthrosis (gonarthrosis), pre- or post-operation
  • Foot pain, e.g. beginning halux valgus
  • Further musculoskeletal pain. The list is not complete.

Please note: In trigger point therapy, pain points are detected and released with manual pressure. This can be painful during the treatment, please do not expect a pure relaxation massage.

Schmerztherapie nach Liebscher und Bracht

Indications for pain therapy according to Liebscher and Bracht

The same symptoms as above can be treated according to Liebscher and Bracht.
This form of therapy is best suited for patients who want to actively intervene in the disease process and are prepared to do 10-15 minutes exercise per day (at home) in addition to the treatments.

Klassische Massage und Flussreflex

Indications for classic massage and/or foot reflexology therapy

  • General states of stress, irritability, imbalance
  • Stress-related conditions such as sleep disorders, etc.
  • Wish for a feel-good treatment

Please note: The focus here is your well-being. Your self-healing powers are activated and the vegetative nervous system is balanced. These methods are aimed at the whole organism, not at specific, local pain. Important: Pure relaxation treatments as well as purely preventive treatments cannot be charged to health insurance.

Manuelle Lymphdrainage

Indications for manual lymphatic drainage (complex decongestive therapy)

  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • post-operative edema
  • primary lymphedema
  • secondary lymphedema
  • Lipedema
  • Sudeck’s disease, CRPS

Please note: As a supplement to decongestive therapy, a form of compression must be worn in almost all cases in order to achieve success.

About

Luzia Mühlebach has been a massage therapist EFA since 2016. She is recognized by health insurance companies and a member of vdms, the Swiss Association of Massage Therapists.

After studying English and German (1998-2004), she worked as a language teacher for almost ten years. She finds joy connecting with people and achieving improvements for her patients.
